A Fairy Fair

A young Fair Fae with lovely hair,

danced all night at the Fairy Fair.

A dress of gossamer so divine,

sparkly eyes, rare beauty so fine.

She danced and danced, and spun and spun

until the night was close to dawn.

Suddenly realized alone and blue,

she never found her love so true.

But alas upon her very last turn,

through the fire she saw him yearn.

Just as the sun began to rise,

they stopped and locked their fairy eyes.

A moment’s heartbeat was all it took,

in true love’s embrace with just one look.

And now the dance of one, becomes the eternal waltz of a pair,

for all to see each year, at the fairy fair.
